Elmvale Zoo - May 2003

One day, Marg was very brave and took the kids to the Elmvale Zoo by herself.  Beats sitting around the house.  As it turns out, the visit was a success.

The Elmvale Zoo is located, not surprisingly, in Elmvale.  It's a small zoo, but has a large variety of animals in enclosures that allow you to get quite close to the animals.  A nice afternoon.

The petting zoo is great.  It has a small enclosure filled with pygmy goats and the kids can get up close and personal.  The first time we ever visited the Elmvale Zoo, Sloane was scared stupid by the goats.  This time, she was much less shy and jumped right in.  Parker was less certain about them, but enjoyed the visit too.
